The University of Stavanger (UiS) has ranked fourth in Norway in research production per academic staff member. This means that we have researchers who are among the most productive in the country.
UiS is a member of the European network for innovative universities - European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU). Until the 1st of November 2026 the university also participates in ECIU University.
