The Learning Agreement may also include individual work depending on the program at the host institution / own application.

It is also possible for UiS students who travel abroad to construct the content of a stay abroad that is not based on an existing institutional cooperation. Such an arrangement must be approved by the department management and funded by the individual student.

Incoming exchange students are assigned a supervisor at UiS, who follows up their studies during their stay. It is desirable that students from UiS who travel abroad are assigned a supervisor at their host institution.
