Social, Emotional and Professional Skills (BRV001)

At the start of the bachelor’s program in law, students will attend a week-long Kick off. During the Kick-off, students will participate in a program designed to set them up for a successful completion of their bachelor’s degree and learn skills necessary both during their studies and in work life. Students will be introduced social, emotional, and professional skills through a combination of workshops, seminars, group activities, and practical exercises aimed at fostering collaboration, critical thinking, effective communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities. This holistic approach ensures that students acquire competencies essential for their academic and professional journey in the field of law.

The course gives 1 credit, and those who pass will also be awarded a diploma to use as a certificate in connection with a job application. It is not compulsory, but due to the importance of the skills they will contribute to practice, everyone is expected to take the course.

In this week long course students will be introduced to theoretical foundations and practical application of various skills that enable and enhance personal development, participation in learning and success in working life. The topics covered in the program are subject to change,

Upon completion of this course, students will gain following knowledge:
