About the position

As a graduate in Finance, Strategy & Partner Operated Assets (FSP) you will be enrolled in our two-year graduate program and be part of an enthusiastic team. The FSP organisation in Aker BP strives to be recognized as the industry benchmark and welcomes highly motivated students to help us achieve this ambition. The right candidates will be offered to start their first year of the graduate program within the Business Finance or Financial Accounting and Integrated Reporting team, and then rotate through other roles in the Finance, Strategy & Partner Operated Assets business unit during the graduate.  

Typical work tasks can be:  

  • Analyse and report costs vs. internal targets and budgets  
  • Participate in the financial reporting process
  • Invoice processing and payment execution
  • Prepare and perform cost allocation tasks
  • Calculate and benchmark operational and financial performance
  • Provide insights through management presentations  
  • Build financial models for financial reporting and forecasting
  • Participate in ongoing projects within key focus areas for Aker BP; Topics may include ESG reporting, financial analysis, digitalization and process improvement 

Your exact assignment will be decided based on our business needs combined with your field of expertise and your interests.

Requirements to the applicant

 

  • You have recently graduated or will graduate in 2026 with a MSc within Finance or a business-related program  
  • You have maximum two years of relevant professional experience
  • You have a strong analytical mindset  
  • You have a keen interest in learning new tools  
  • You are fluent in English and able to communicate in Norwegian
