Jason Deegan is a PhD Candidate (Stipendiat) and research fellow at the University of Stavanger. His work primarily focuses on; Innovation, Regional Studies, Smart Specialisation and Policy.

Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Jason has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Marketing from Technological University of Dublin, alongside a Master of Public Policy from University College Dublin.
