University of Stavanger will not use cookies to gather information unnecessarily. However, we use Google Analytics to measure traffic to our websites. We don't use cookies to map single users nor collect information that may conflict with privacy and data protection policies. To secure this we use Google Analytics IP Anonymization that masks part of a user’s IP address.

You may experience getting ads from us on other websites, based on content and pages you have visited on For this, we use cookies issued by third parties (such as Facebook and Google) on our behalf and with our permission. The same companies have technology to reach you on several of your digital devices. Other than this, we do not share information with other parties. The information we use to show you customized ads is deleted after six months.
