Information about the university

Valencia is the 3rd largest city in Spain, and University of Valencia is the 3rd university receiving the largest number of Erasmus students with about 2200 students coming each year. The University comprises 18 faculties and a school of engineering spread out on 3 different campuses: Blasco Ibanez, Burjassot-Paterna and Tarongers. The Faculty of Educational Sciences and Philosophy is located in Blasco Ibanez.

UiS has an Erasmus+ agreement with the University of Valencia within Teacher Education.

Language requirements

English and Spanish proficiency recommended at minimum B2 level (read upper-intermediate = 4 in English and/or Spanish from "videregående skole" for Norwegian students).

Description of proficiency levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Students who do not meet the language requirements will be offered online language courses prior the exchange period.

Student doing exchange withing Erasmus+ are exempted from tuition fees

Erasmus + in combination with loan and grant from Lånekassen for eligible students

Accommodation

The University may assist in providing accommodation for international students.

Visa

Norwegian students do not need to apply for visa when travelling to Europe. Students who do not hold Norwegian citizenship must check themselves if they need to apply for Visa.
