Mohammad Mansouri holds a PhD degree in energy systems engineering from the University of Stavanger (UiS). He is a chemical engineer holding BSc and MSc degrees in chemical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran. His research interests include modeling, simulation, optimization, and management of different energy conversion technologies and multi-vector energy systems. He has also experience in performing techno-economic assessments for energy systems, as well as in consequence modeling and quantitative risk assessments (QRA) for petroleum and geothermal applications. Since March 2021, he has joined the Department of Energy and Petroleum Engineering of the University of Stavanger as an Associate Professor in Energy Systems Engineering.

 

Mohammad Mansouri har en doktorgrad i energiteknologi fra Universitetet i Stavanger (UiS). Han er en kjemisk ingeniør som har bachelor og mastergrader fra Sharif University of Technology, Iran. Hans forskningsinteresser inkluderer modellering, simulering, optimalisering og styring av forskjellige energisystemer. Han har også erfaring med å utføre teknisk-økonomiske vurderinger for energisystemer, samt konsekvensmodellering og kvantitativ risikovurdering (QRA) for petroleum og geotermiske applikasjoner. Han er førsteamanuensis i energisystemer på Institutt for energi- og petroleumsteknologi ved UiS siden mars 2021.
