Lege med spesialisering i anestesiologi. Klinisk erfaring som anestesilege i Helse Stavanger og Oslo Universitetssykehus, men i hovedsak jobbet som luftambulanselege i 16 år i Stavanger, på Ål og i Oslo. Siden 2017 forskjellige lederstillinger i Helse Stavanger, Oslo Universitetssykehus og Stiftelsen Norsk Luftambulanse. I dag hovedstilling som Generalsekretær i Stiftelsen Norsk Luftambulanse.
Bosatt på Gjøvik, men vokst opp i Stavanger og Tromsø. Bor sammen med kone, 3 gutter og fem hunder.
