I am a PhD in Structural Engineering with more than twenty years of experience in the analysis and design of structures and over fifteen of academic experience at the Universities of Stavanger and Alicante. I have been involved in the design of several projects including commercial buildings, public buildings, housing, military, industry and oil and gas. I am proficient using FEM programs for global analysis and detail designing of concrete structures. I am dedicated to advancing engineering education through high-quality teaching, research, and the integration of professional practice into academia.

My research focuses on concrete structures, with particular emphasis on fibre-reinforced concrete. Graduated civil and structural engineer with specialization in the analysis and design of concrete structures 

Akademisk bakgrunn

April 2022 – October 2025: Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU). Trondheim. Norway 

  • Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) at the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Structural Engineering.  Thesis title: Structural Strength Analysis of FRC and Crack Width calculation method for hybrid R/FRC ties.  

September 2006 – June 2008: Polytechnic University of Valencia. Spain 

  • Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in the Department of Construction Engineering and Project Engineering at the UPV University in Valencia.  

June 2002: Polytechnic University of Valencia UPV. Spain 

  • 6 years master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. NOKUT’s recognition as an integrated Norwegian Master’s Degree.
  • 6th year INSA. (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées). Rennes. France. Erasmus Scholarship Grant. Option: Structures with industry placement at C.T.I.C.M.
