- Sequence stratigraphy and depositional systems
- Structural geology
- Petrography and geochemistry
- Exploratory geophysics and petrophysics
- Subsurface interpretation
- Geostatistics and decision analysis
- Construction of geomodels
Learning outcome
After having completed the course, the candidate should be able to understand the basic terms in the most important areas within the selected field of geoscience and understand how these are applied in research. Students should have a thorough understanding of how geological data is collected, processed, interpreted, and used for decision-making.
