The project course will contain topics at advanced level in Environmental Science and Technology. The course intends to bring the candidate to the research front in the selected topics.

Learning outcome

After completing the course, the candidate shall have sufficiently detailed knowledge to be at the research front within the field and will be able to perform thorough research and development within the specific topic.

Recommended prerequisites

According to admission requirements for PhD in Chemistry and Biosciences. Final year master students may also be accepted to the course on the conditions of the appointed supervisors approval.

Method of work

8 hours of project work per week. There are no ordinary lectures in this course; each student will receive independent supervision over a selected syllabus by the appointed supervisor.

Course assessment

The faculty decides whether early dialogue will be held in all courses or in selected groups of courses. The aim is to collect student feedback for improvements during the semester. In addition, a digital course evaluation must be conducted at least every three years to gather students’ experiences.
