The University of Stavanger reacts strictly against academic misconduct and attempt at academic misconduct. Both general preventive considerations and individual preventive considerations dictates that the reaction must be strict and consistent. Academic misconduct is a breach of trust towards the university, fellow students and the society in general.
Student advisors are responsible for issues relating to their respective study programmes. They can help you with issues concerning your studies.
Have you studied something at a different educational institution and wish to apply for this to be approved and recognised as part of your studies at UiS? Or do you need to apply for a leave of absence, change in individual education plan or extension of your entitlement to study because of sickness or another factor?
Specified by the board of the University of Stavanger on June 11th 2020 pursuant to the Act of April 1, 2005 No. 15 relating to universities and university colleges (the Universities Act) sections 3-9 and 3-10. The regulations enter into force on 1 August 2020.
