To be able to produce clean and secure power from different sources, Carbon Capture and Storage is one of the proposed solutions. Currently there are three large scale CO2 facilities under development in the Longship project. Two capture plants, and one storage plant.
This lunch and learn will give a short introduction to the project, with a special focus on the special challenges CO2 poses in a Safety Perspective. The presentation will be held by Terje Egeberg, who has been HSE responsible in the Klemetsrud WtE plant CO2 capture project from FEED phase in 2017.
