Bio

Jinghua Xie, Ph.D. (Jinghua.Xie@uis.no) is an Associate Professor of tourism economics at the Norwegian School of Hotel Management, University of Stavanger. Dr. Xie gained a Doctor of Philosophy degree specializing in applied economics. She has done extensive research on many topics related to consumer demand and market linkages. Her research work on tourism focuses on tourism demand, tourist behavior, and sharing economy of Airbnb.
