Opening Concert in St. Petri Church
Welcome to the Opening Concert of the Bjergsted Brass Festival 2025 Wednesday 17 September at 7.30pm in St. Petri Church!
Performing at the concert are the youngest brass ensemble from Young Talents Bjergsted and Elin Kurverud, the oldest brass ensemble from Young Talents Bjergsted and Ingemar Roos, the Bjergsted Brass Ensemble from the Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Stavanger, as well as the Bjergsted Wind Ensemble with soloists from Connaught Brass.
The Bjergsted Brass Festival is an annual festival for brass musicians held in Bjergsted, Stavanger. The festival is organized by the Bjergsted Trombone Guild and the Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Stavanger, in collaboration with Stavanger School of Music and Performing Arts, Young Talents Bjergsted, the brass ensemble from Stavanger Cathedral School, the brass ensemble from Vågen Upper Secondary School, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, and the Norwegian Band Federation, Rogaland Division.
