Welcome to the concert "Musical Migration" in Eikenes Hall at the Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Stavanger, on Monday 10 November at 7pm!
American soprano Laura Loge and pianist Steven Luksan bring their Norwegian-American music to Stavanger. This concert is an exploration of music composed by Norwegians who emigrated to the United States over the past two centuries.
The music reflects the experiences of composers who left everything behind in search of opportunity in a new land, carrying with them their musical heritage—shaped by struggle, new adventures, and a deep longing for home and distant family.
Admission is free.
