About the conference

In a globalized world, with growing social diversity and increasing international migration, welfare and social workers face new challenges and demands. This conference on comparative welfare explores new approaches and methods that generate innovation, new knowledge and improved skills for the practice fields. Cultural diversity, gender (in)equality, ethics and user participation, and it will contribute to develop new perspectives and understandings of the field of welfare and social work in a global perspective.

Deadline for general conference participation:

26th April 2023

Deadline for signing up for paper-presentation + conferance participation:

18th April 2023. Please send your abstract to professor Siv Oltedal.

Feedback on abstracts:

You will receive feedback on your abstract within 15th May 2023.

Deadline for payment:

26th May 2023.

Payment

Conference payment includes conference participation fee, lunches for four days and excursions. Conference dinner will be paid for separately by each participant.

The deadline for payment is 26th May 2023 for both paper-presentation and/or conference participation.
