  • Speaker: Idriss El-Thalji

It is pretty popular in Norway to have master thesis projects at the workplace. A master thesis project as a minor research project can provide excellent insights for the case company to map a problem of interest and conceptual and validate potential solutions.

After having a good master thesis project, the most common question is how to benefit from such projects and move from an ad hoc approach of proposing and managing thesis projects into a more systemic, systemic, and strategic direction. Therefore, CIAM has extracted a model with evidence from the industry to answer such questions. We will be presenting some cases from several companies before we head into the discussion.

Please join us to discuss the model (see below) and explore practical mechanisms to Inform (thesis project outcomes), reform, and even transform current work processes based on any experiential activities at the workplace. Idriss El-Thalji from UiS will present the model and lead the discussion.
