Scandinavia are amongst the most digitalized countries in the world. As an example, a massive amount of Open Data in each country is being released across sectors and authorities. Every day becoming more reliable and suitable for business purposes. However, as pieces of information are often spread across different data sources, these needs to be combined in order to unlock the full potential of good industrial use cases.
In this talk Michael Brogaard Jensen from Vimento will show an example on how they have created a business out of combining several different Open Data sources with a geographical information system (GIS). This is done to provide an innovative and new method to select the most relevant and warm leads in B2B sales. The presentation will provide a concrete use case of combined data sources a long with a demonstration of a state-of-the-art B2B lead selection tool.

Michael Brogaard Jensen has a technical background as a network engineer from Aalborg University. In the past years he has been a partner in a consultancy house and shortly the head of R&D in a software company before he co-founded Vimento in 2020. Since then he has been helping other companies supporting their businesses by creating value and new insights with their own internal data in combination with public available Open Data.
