From South Africa to Norway by Bicycle

After living six years in Cape Town, Teresie Hommersand wanted to make her way back home to Norway in an environmentally friendly way. The solution turned out to be a four-year-long bicycle journey through Africa and Europe. 

The trip became an adventure filled with cultures, religions, nature, languages, many challenges — and lots of care and love. 

Being climate-friendly is far from boring, Hommersand concludes. Now she is coming to the university library to give a lecture about her journey and inspire you to set out on your own adventure.
