Subsurface opportunities for the future energy mix
15-17 April, 2024
About the conference
Energy Norway 2024 is a meeting place for subsurface professionals in Norway and international communities, policy makers, regulatory bodies, and students.
The annual conference is organized and financed by the research centre NCS2030 – National Centre for Sustainable Subsurface Utilization of the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
This year's conference theme: Subsurface opportunities for the future energy mix.
The National Centre for Sustainable Utilization of Energy Resources on the Norwegian Shelf (NCS2030) is the scientific and technology driver to facilitate an energy-efficient, multi-purpose utilization of the subsurface into a “Sustainable Subsurface Value Chain” to reach the NZE goals on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). At Energy Norway 2024 you will get scientific presentations linked to the scope of the centre, namely subsurface energy systems, net-zero emission production, digitalization, and society.
Venue and parking
Note: Limited parking at the university campus.
The venue for the conference is Tjodhallen at the University of Stavanger (Kjølv Egeland's house). Due to construction activities at the campus, parking is currently limited. Carpooling and the use of public transport are therefore encouraged.
