Grants for challenges and micro modules abroad through ECIU University

If you are participating in a challenge or micro module that takes place abroad through ECIU University, you may qualify for a grant to support your participation.

Grant through Erasmus+

If your stay meets the following criteria, you may apply for a grant through Erasmus+:

  1. The activity must consist of a virtual and a physical component
  2. The physical component must last minimum 5 days
  3. The activity must award minimum 3 ECTS

Grant through ECIU University

Complete the online application form at least 2 weeks before the start of your stay. Additionally, you must upload an admission confirmation or an invitation to the activity for which you are seeking support. We will assess your application and contact you promptly. If your stay meets the criteria, you will receive a grant agreement for signing.

Duration: Minimum 2 days.
Rates: 70 EUR per day, in addition to up to 2 travel days.

After the stay is completed, the receiving university must fill out and sign a Confirmation of Stay (PDF). The fully completed form must be sent to eciu@uis.no no later than 1 month after the end of the stay.

The grant will be disbursed only after the signed grant agreement and confirmation of the stay have been submitted. If any of the documents are missing or incomplete after the deadline, the grant will not be disbursed.
