Joanna sought help from a student mentor when she struggled with her own bachelor's thesis. Now she helps other students at the library.
At the Faculty of Performing Arts, the academic year is divided into mainly three different categories: Regular teaching weeks, project weeks, and exam weeks. Some weeks several sections have project week, other weeks it can be a teaching week in one section, while others have project week.
The University of Stavanger reacts strictly against academic misconduct and attempt at academic misconduct. Both general preventive considerations and individual preventive considerations dictates that the reaction must be strict and consistent. Academic misconduct is a breach of trust towards the university, fellow students and the society in general.
Specified by the board of the University of Stavanger on June 11th 2020 pursuant to the Act of April 1, 2005 No. 15 relating to universities and university colleges (the Universities Act) sections 3-9 and 3-10. The regulations enter into force on 1 August 2020.

The Faculty in charge of the course determines which support materials are permitted during exams. Support materials may include written and printed materials, calculators, drawing equipment and other auxiliary equipment.
