My main research interests focus on how beliefs and psychological factors shape educational trajectories and academic development across childhood and adolescence. I am currently involved in the following projects:
Parental beliefs and investments in children’s learning: I am the principal investigator for WE-TEACH, where we develop and test an intervention for parents with children in elementary school. The main target for this intervention is parents' belief about parent investment and their beliefs about how to best motivate their children.
Supporting NEET youth: I am also involved in the project CL-App, where we develop an intervention designed to help NEET youths get into work and/or education.
Teacher burnout and student development: Using data from the Two Teachers project, I examine the impact of teacher burnout on students’ academic performance and socioemotional development for first grade elementary school students.
