Bio

I am a PhD Fellow of Social Economics at the University of Stavanger.

I am affiliated with Synapse Lab, an interdisciplinary research lab at the UiS which develops and investigates interventions for promoting motivation and learning in education and work-life.

My main area of interests is the effect of student and parent beliefs on academic development. I am currently involved in two projects:

  • I am the principal investigator for WE-TEACH, where we develop and test an intervention for parents with children in elementary school. The main target for this intervention is parents' belief about parent investment and their beliefs about how to best motivate their children.

  • I am also involved in the project CL-App, where we develop an intervention designed to help NEET youths get into work and/or education.
