Our event area is located by the entrance of the library. It comes equipped with microphones and the option to connect to a larger screen. We regularly host events with students and researchers as our target audience, like Language Café, Writer’s Night, and book presentations.
If you wish to host an event in the library, contact the library’s event coordinator Julie Hoel.

The Data Lab is suited for classes and seminars focusing on collaboration. The room is furnished with small and large group tables, and you can connect to three different screens.
The Data Lab is inspired by a mad professor’s lab, and the room is perfect if you need a room with its own, special atmosphere.
Do you wish to host an event in the Data Lab? Send an email to dataverkstedet@uis.no, who is managed by Håkon Magne Bjerkan, until a new coordinator for the Data Lab has been hired.
