Welcome to the annual christmas concert with Bjergsted Jazz Ensemble and Bjergsted Vocal Ensemble!

This evenings program has great variation in expressions, and you as an audience can look forward to both new and old arrangements on some dear and known christmas songs from a big band ensemble. The talented students from UiS Faculty of Performing Arts will have solo performances as well.

The Ensemble, consisting of both students and employees from the Jazz Environment at UiS, have for over 20 years been an important factor in the regions culture.

Artistic leader of the Jazz Ensemble today is Simen Kiil Halvorsen. Artistic leader of the Vocal Ensemble is Anita Kaasbøll.
