The Norwegian Knowledge Centre for Education
Building a stronger knowledge base for the future of education by synthesising and sharing research.
There is an extensive amount of research being conducted in the field of education, and it can be challenging to keep track of and evaluate the quality of all the available findings.
The Knowledge Centre for Education (KCE) is a national research centre based at the University of Stavanger. We specialise in producing systematic reviews in the field of education. This involves collecting, assessing, and synthesising existing research on a range of topics.
Our goals are to contribute to knowledge- and research-based practice, improve the quality of education, and strengthen the knowledge base for policy decisions.
The Knowledge Centre for Education is a national research centre, established and funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Education. Our mission is to share research-based knowledge in ways that spark interest and encourage the use of systematic reviews in education. Our staff bring broad and varied expertise in systematic reviews, schools and education, knowledge brokering, and research communication. Read more about us.
