The Responsible Tourism online seminar week (18th-22nd March 2024) organized in Nordic cooperation deals with current topics of responsible tourism, such as climate change and tourism, accessibility and ethics in tourism, concrete actions to promote responsibility and future of tourism.

Kaleidoskop is a festival that focuses on important events, life changes and critical perspectives. By presenting different points of view from both academia and other active social actors, the festival aims to create and develop new ideas and opportunities.
Students from different study programs across UiS were invited to engage in a challenge-based learning activity, aiming at generating new ideas for developing the future hotel.

Welcome to the Faculty of Performing Arts annual chamber music competition. The competition
takes place on Friday 22 March at 13:00 in the Eikenes hall and is open to the public.
- I wanted to study under professor Ellen Nisbeth and explore Scandinavian traditions.
- Since there are so many fun and skilled people on the faculty, I thought that a couple of years here could make me more fun and skilled as well.

You can now apply at the Faculty of Performing Arts at the University of Stavanger. Available study places are; classical, jazz, conducting and church music. We also have available study places at PPU, music production and DigJazz.
From 2023, all applicants to studies at the Faculty of Performing Arts are required to upload a valid passport or national ID card to confirm citizenship. This is due to the introduction of tuition fees for applicants with citizenship outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland.

Mezzosoprano Bettina Smith, Professor of singing at the Faculty of Performing Arts, University of Stavanger, is during the spring of 2022 initializing her project highlighting women in the arts.
The artistic research dance project All Tomorrows Parties by Brynjar Åbel Bandlien aims to investigate the impact that the HIV and Aids pandemic had on the Norwegian dance scene, the performing arts and cultural life in 1980s and 1990s.

After 15 years at British universities followed by two years at the UiS Business School, Rune Todnem By joins the established leadership and organisational change community at the University of Stavanger Faculty of Social Sciences as Professor of Leadership.
Attendance requirements at the Faculty of Performing Arts (UK) are an elaboration of the course descriptions' work requirements, which entail compulsory attendance; Regulations relating to studies and examinations at the University of Stavanger § 3-8.3. These rules are intended to address the particularity of UK performing studies.
