Opening hours for the library

Opening hours for all our library branches: Ullandhaug Library, Bjergsted Library, the library at the Museum of Archaeology and the Medical and Psychiatric libraries at SUS.

Due to national holidays in Norway our libraries are unstaffed on:

  • May 17 - Constitution Day
  • May 26 - Ascension Day
  • June 6 - Whit Monday

Ullandhaug: Main Library

Staffed hours:

Monday – Friday: 8 am – 6 pm Saturday: 9 am – 3 pm

After hours:

The library is open 24/7. Use UiS ID to enter KE-house before 7.45 am and after 8 pm. Access after 8 pm for non-UiS students.

Bjergsted: The Library of Music and Dance

Staffed hours:

Monday – Thursday: 9 am – 5 pm Friday: 9 am – 3 pm Open to students and staff with a keycard from Bjergsted from 7 am – 11 pm everyday.

The Medical library can be accessed 24/7 with a SUS keycard. Staffed hours: Mon – Fri: 9 am – 2 pm

The Psychiatric Library

Opening Hours:

Mon – Fri: 8 am – 3 pm Staffed hours: Mon – Fri: 9 am – 2 pm
