It is possible to receive Erasmus+ grants for mobility outside the European Union.
When you go on an exchange with Erasmus+, you get access to free Online Language Support (OLS) through the online platform EU Academy.
Students who do not receive any other travel support from Erasmus+ will receive an additional one-time payment of 50 EUR and up to 4 days of grant for the return journey if relevant, by traveling in an environmentally friendly manner.

By taking a semester at the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS), you will encounter an exciting and international academic environment in Arctic research. Your exchange must be academically relevant to be included in your degree from the University of Stavanger. You must apply for pre-approval of planned courses or traineeships before you travel, and for final approval upon your return.
